Shilpa Shetty at Bigg Boss 2 Launch

No doubt racial discrimination won Shilpa Shetty the UK based reality show Big Brother. Now she is apparently all set to host our very own desi version of the show, the second season of Big Boss in India. So hopefully Shilpa’s switch to the small screen will get her fame and more films in her own country this time?

At the Big Boss, season 2 launch, Shilpa Shetty dazzled one and all in a striking red outfit which certainly flattered her slim and trim figure. It seems that the nose job and fitness regime that Miss Shetty had undertaken years ago has indeed done her good in the long run.

Shilpa Shetty made her acting debut in bollywood along with two of the biggest stars today, Shahrukh and Kajol. While SRK and Kajol went on to achieve success, Miss Shetty was left behind with simply mediocre films then and very few films now. Now she keeps herself busy by launching Yoga DVD’s and perfumes.

Shilpa was once the leading lady in actor Akshay Kumar’s life, but as most relationships in bollywood go, they both eventually moved on. Recently Shilpa claimed that she was just good friends with the married, UK businessman Raj Kundra and like all other just good friends they eventually moved on to admitting they were seeing each other. Ever since Shilpa acquired the status of homebreaker, Akshay’s wife Twinkle is tensed.
