Will it be possible to share information about your technician as mine has raised his hands from the responsibility as he had some bad experience with setting them up elsewhere... (I guess not very good at it)

I have the same problem what shiyamh is getting in his Digibox;


[ I'm getting a message "DVB SSU MMIV LOADER. New Software being downloaded. Do not switch off your Digibox...... 0% completed". If we keep waiting for update to finish it still show 0% completed and show the home page which allow me to go the subscribed channel but this will last only few almost 1 mnt duration and then again go back to the software update mode. This action is repeating every now and then. I tried completely switch off the digicomp and switching on again. Still the same problem. ]

If any one find soultion please let me know ; since 5 days no result ; i am residing in Abu Dhabi.

Hai Gays,

I had the same problem since last 4 days; today evening i solved this problem now its working fine;

I just called the technician since he was the one fixed the Dish antanna earlier) he told me to bring the Digibox; i dont know what he did; I hope he might did software download somewhere, but he charged me AED 100/-;

Please note that NOT only for me they were nealy TS 15 digibox we found with same prob. today.

I am residing in Abu Dhabi - UAE @ Old Passport Road. If any one wanna that Technician Contact Details let me know.

Good to know that you have got yours back... I too need to get my digibox fixed... Can you share the details of your technician? I too live in Abu Dhabi... Murror Area.

Hi all,
Here is a good news for all who are struggling with Software download. I too had this problem with my digicomp for the past 10 days. Finally I took it to my friend who was having good signal strength (about 40 to 50%) and downloaded the software (inform your friend before, for me it took more than 2 hours to download). Now I am getting almost all channels in my place. So the solution is either try to increase signal strength at your place or take it to other place to download software completely.
BTW I am in Bahrain

Dear,
Reset your stb, it might solve your prob.
Reset can be done either by
(1) unplug power cable from stab, plug in and immediate press 3 buttons on stb Left side 2 buttons and right side 1 button, wait. unplug & plug it again.
or
(2) switch off stb, unplug your coaxial cable, switch on stb, u will see the message. then again switch off, fix coaxial cable and switch on.

I figured out the combination for the reset but there is a problem now... For a few minutes I can see the programs then suddenly moves to the Downloader page and stays at 0%... I can see some numbers changing on the left top most corner of the display screen, it keeps doing this and then restarts after a couple of hours and then again I can see programs and then Downloader page...

Can anyone tell me what to do next here?

Please contact me... I am getting desperate for getting this thing done... Contact me on 050-8182357. Money not a problem, just need to get the damn thing fixed!
