Software upgrade...problem

Dear Mr. Channel,
Please help me to sort out the problems I'm facing with Tata sky STB which is described below. I have already PM you with my TS A/c details.

Description of the problem:
1.I'm getting a message "DVB SSU MMIV LOADER. New Software being downloaded. Do not switch off your Digibox...... 0% completed". If we keep waiting for update to finish it still show 0% completed and show the home page which allow me to go the subscribed channel but this will last only few almost 1 mnt duration and then again go back to the software update mode. This action is repeating every now and then. I tried completely switch off the digicomp and switching on again. Still the same problem.
2. Also I added Ten sports to my package early morning today. I have conifrmation message in my STB about the addition of the package. BUt still I'm not able get the channel.

Hope you can help me in sort out this problem.

Regarding tensports if your are not getting it please contact the CC of TS and inform the issue to them and i belive the issue will be sorted and also clarify with the technical team of TS CC too on Software Upgrade.......

Regarding software upgrade as you told earlier switch off your TS STB today also 2 - 3 times as you did yesterday and i hope the software upgrade problem is also solved.........

Thanx for your reply. I have switched off and on so many times. But it is not working. I'm based in UAE and afraid to call the CC from here.

I expected this problem b'coz you are not from india.. ok just call some good technician and see the the signal level is good.. lot of them are facing this problem outside india.. so just try to increase the signal by adjusting the dish. This will solve your software download problem.

I have checked with 2-3 Tata sky users in Abu Dhabi. All are facing the same problem. The thing is that we are able to watch the channels for few minutes/seconds then again prompting for a software upgrade. I'm thinking of going to any one of the users in UAE/Abu Dhabi/Dubai to connect my digicomp to their dish for the software upgrade so that I can sort this problem. Can any abu dhabi/dubai users who sucsessfully updated their software can help me out? Please provide ur contact details so that I can talk to you.

Hi All,

Iam also facing the same problem since 2 days. The TATA SKY engineer in India said that he heard this problem for the first time and the digibox needs to be replaced with the new one. I guess they do not have the solution as they did not face this problem earlier. If any one finds a solution, please reply.

Dear Members,
I think it is a common problem for the middle east users. Even though it is illegal to use Tata sky here, everybody including Tata sky managment know that TS is being widely used here which contributes a majore revnue for them. I'm sure somebody from TS family is keenly watching our postings in this forum. If TS wants to maintain their subscriber base and be the no.1 DTH operator they should defenitly try to solve this problem otherwise they will loose heavily and can't prevent people switch from TS to other DTH operators.

It will be appreciated if sombebody can bring the attention of TS technical support in the matter.

Yesterday I have fixed the problem, during noght the signals were clear, so the software downloaded to 100% and the problem sorted our. Guys call the technician he can help u out

TS still is the best
