Try using Dual LNB near the Dish.. then you wont face this problems.. I think right now you are using just single LNB and connected to other STB via loopout.. right?

Well I agree with you.
I am quite sure, he is using loop-through, by which signal from 1 STB is given to other STB (Can't remember whether TATASKY's STB has loop out, but I guess it should). In case of loop-through, power needs to be applied to 1st STB, only then signal is bypassed by tuner. So 1st STB needs to be in power on state always (standyby will also do). As MJ said use dual LNB or give seperate signal to other 2nd STB

Thanks MJ thumbsup, I didnt remember my TATASKY STB, and I knew that many STB's do have loop through, but some may not have (I have seen those), so just thought to get it confirmed Big Grin

Get The 2 way 0r 4way or 6,8,16 All Power Pass Switch from the market and connect the first receiver to input 1 then second receiver to input 2,the output of the switch to the lnb[color] problem u facing will be solved

what is dual LNB......i was not facing this problem before...why now?? i am using a power divider two way....

Contact dealer of Dish TV and told him to setup any connection. They will do it for 150Rs only. Tatasky charge more then any others.

I think what Mr. Dish is saying correct............if you call TS they will surely charge a min of Rs. 500 for its service..........
