Yes Rs.1250 are hidden Charges in case of new connection as Sun Direct charges Rs.1250 as Installation and Activation chanrges.

the actual game may be.......

CC confirmed that 1 year renewal subscription charge is 1310/-(including tax). that's for sure.
however if u need to pay 1 year subscription you have to pay 1310/-. but if u pay for 1 year they will give you 1 month free.
so you are paying 1310/- for 13 months.
so the actual charge for 12 month is = 1310/13 * 12 = 1190/- (rounded due to actual tax % )

i guess that's what they are saying in website....

Rs1,250/= you have to pay if you are a new customer. That is istallation & activation charges.

If you want to renew, you don't need to pay that amount.

Website is not cheating.It has clearly mentioned that Installation and activation charges extra.

Bhavan, The special offer 1190 is applicable only to new customers this is confirmed by CC and also if u look at the new ad carefully at the end of the ad displays "This offer only valid of new customers".

Off-topic: As a pleasant surprise , yesterday the CC service was good.And at the end of the call he has asked me for the rating for the answers and has given a complaint reference number as well.

Yes you are right viki.

I was pleasantly surprised. This is the first time I called the CC.

I was wondering wether the earlier comments were wrong.

Hope they have improved a lot. The rating was interesting.
