STAR UTSAV NO.2 most watched (mostly on DDD+)

In the Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) space, Star's two channels are the most watched among digital viewers. After leader Star Plus (27 per cent in HSM, 4+), Star Utsav holds the second spot with an average of 14 per cent over the last four weeks. Star Utsav garners only three per cent in the C &S market.

Well star ustav is good as compare to zee next ,that's way they doing good in gec ranking.

but most viewers of star utsav are from ddd+ as no one on cable will like to watch the repeated telecasts of programs
Also the viewers increased due to religious programs such as SAI BABA, KRISHNA, RAMAYAN in the period

Hi,
Its good that channels on DD direct get higher ratings.
Market economics play a major role in deciding which
channel gives good programs. Its a vicious cycle. More viewers -
means more TRP's - means more advertisements - means
still better programs.
Actually DD Direct should attract more advertisers because the viewer
base is more.( Lets discount paying capacity of rural folk being less than that of city fellows).

So guys the trend is in our favor.

Well you are right. I think those channels which have TRP problems like Zee Next they should come on DD DTH to get better viewership.

But I guess Zee Next cant come on DDD+ since its a pay ch if I am not mistaken..!! Moreover, the ch has not been added by Big TV yet...!!

Well Zee Next is pay channel but we also knows that 9XM is pay channel in Non Cas area but it is on DD. You knows it 9XM is now India's no.1 Music channel.

I love 9XM channel , what a quality and they telecast latest full songs and limited ad break...
