Is Star Utsav only available for Hindi Package Subscribers?

I'm shocked to see Star Utsav (Ch 110) to be showing Conditional Access. I'm having Tamil/Malayalam Package and when I enquired about this to Dish TV CC, they are telling that it is a channel for Hindi/Punjabi package only!!

Is anybody else facing this problem?

Yes I am also facing this problem from last 2 months. I am using Maxi kannada pack. You can see the thread in possibly related threads below these posts.

I am also facing this problem for the last 2 months , we have to watch it in DDD+ tp only....

This is indeed very bad from Dish TV! I have to go to some 1000's no to reach this channel.

And Tisca Chopra is telling remember the number of your favourite channels. Wow!

Well if we want to see which program(epg) is going on Star Utsav we have to tune into ch 110 and we have to go to ch 1560 to watch the program . It is very difficult..

I am reciving star utsav in Telugu package. It is telecasting almost all old programmes from starplus

Star utsav also has some good comedy shows like Shararath, Khicdi...

i think Star Utsav is available on all packs irrespective of the zone you have chosen, I have hindi/punjabi and getting this channel and also my brother is having Tamil/malayalam package and its available for him too.
