Ten Sports ....

Over the last few days Dialog TV have been broadcasting Ten Sports Middle East to the dismay of many of its viewers. This feed lacks programming such as WWE and many others which makes Ten Sports one of the leading sports channels in this region.

Subscribers are complaining that a lack of a consistent answer from Dialog TV customer care as to why it was changed and some executives are clueless about the change. However this is not surprising since Dialog TV customer care usually does not know what is happening in their own backyard.

We hope that the feed is changed back as soon as possible and if it is a technical issue a solution is found and if it an agreement issue then it is sorted out soon. Dialog TV should have taken steps to inform their viewers of the change in the Ten Sports feed. Ten Sports should also get actively involved in solving this problem for the benefit of their viewers.

In addition Dialog TV should take steps to include the AXN spin off channel "AXN Beyond" on its platform since SPE networks is planning to move programmes such as Lost & Supernatural onto that channel.

After a couple of days of watching the Middle East feed of Ten Sports, the Dialog TV subscribers have been given a breather since the Indian/Sri Lankan feed returned to their television screens a few hours ago.

The reason for the changeover is not clear but Dialog should have informed their subscribers about the change. Well many subscribers will now return to enjoying their favourite programmes that made Ten Sports the most watched sports channel in this region. The next time a feed change is carried out due to any reason we hope that Dialog TV customer care is kept updated instead of having to learn about it from their subscribers.
