TS+ can not play recorded movies from showcase

TS+ is it true that you can record movies after ordering in showcase but can not replay later. No mention anywhere ?

you can play recorded movies of showcase as many times you wish. i have recorded various movies from the past showcase movies list and they are still on my tata sky plus PVR.
so answer is a resounding YES.

Just a small correction.........You can record the movies from the showcase channel and you can view the movie as many times you want but after 3 days you cannot view the movie it will just show you blue screen in which it states "to view this channel please the the TS CS".........

really? i can still watch a movie from quite sometime back. i have deleted it now though, as i had already seen it more than thrice. i'll recheck. i've ordered another movie today.

tried playing the recorded movie today. wont play.

so if u ve ordered a showcase movie, u can record and keep it for 3 days, not more. its a pity because users have already paid for the showcase movie. another sign that showcase movies are not worth it.

The reason for this is the copyright issue and several other complications. Tata Sky allows you to view the movie on showcase. However, having a permanent "copy" of the movie violates the copyright law. Hence, the movie is deleted after 3 days. If you want the movie to be permanently with you, you could just by a CD or DVD! It is not my subject to debate the rights and wrongs of the copyright law. I am just stating the reasons behind the whole issue.

When ordering a movie on Showcase, we are 'Renting' it, not buying it. So we cannot have it permanently in PVR recording.
Like any other item we take on rent, after using it for limited period we dont have right on it, same is with Showcase movies
