TS giving less tamil channels

Hi,

TATA SKY is giving less tamil channels in the south package compared to SUN Direct, Dish tv and Big TV.See the attached xl sheet comparison

Yes nothing special in Tatasky other than they are costly. So better throw that crap and take Big, dish or Sun dth.

Yes you are right! They have least channels compare to other DTH.

TS doesnt have more transponders...so they just add the popular channels

Well Tatasky have more transponders then any other DTH.

Tatasky have own 12 Transponders
Sun DTH have 6-7 Transponder
BIG TV using 7 Transponder ( They will have 6 more from Jan 2009)
Bharti have 4 Transponder

Tatasky is not suitable for Tamil Viewers. They are not ready to increase the Tamil Chennals.

IF people are more concerned about south indian channels then TS is not a good idea to buy............but similarly if people are more interested in Sports, English/Hindi Movie channels, Infotainment channels.......then sun direct is not a good idea to buy
