Not sure about the following information, came to know from some unreliable sources.
So please ignore it if you dont like the info and dont ask me for the source.  The USB port on the back of the STB is for STB to STB software upgrade like if you are not able to do OTA software upgarde. Also I came to know that you will be able to connect device like external Hard drive or Flash Drive on the usb port. The use: After the software upgarde when Big TV will release it. You will be able to use the DVR functionality on STB which will store the recorded info on the external Hard drive, or Flash Drive (Was checking for Software failed on my STb issue, so came to know)  Thanks

Dont worry about virus on USB drives aa those virus are for your computer operating system only(mostly Windows) They can run in that enviornment only. So it will not affect STB firmware. I use a USB flash drive with my DVD player and I commonly use it in several Internet cafes. I reguraly get virus on drive, it does not affect the firware of DVD player |

Well the use of the USB port on the Big TV STB is yet to be clarified. Lets wait for announcement from the end of Big TV...!!
