What are your expectations from D2h?

My expectations would be a cheaper STB and cheaper costs overall in the packages.

STB and Dish should cost less than 1000rs .
Max package should not cost more than 350rs .
I need maximum number of regional channels.
I am expecting a package that should consists of regional channels combined with all sports channels for 200rs per month.

These are my small expectations from Videocon D2h.

Well I go about 75% to what Arshad just said. I expect the STBs to be of low price since they would be manufactured in India. Also they can (or may) offer TVs with in-built STBs, so a bundled offer would further decrease the price. Also it must boast of a huge quantity of chs.(Equal to Big TV or more). It should cater to all the audiences of all regional zones, so that one particular zone user must not feel that his or her zone has too less no of chs..! Also there should be a pack which will contain practically "ALL" the chs on Videocon D2H. In other words, the entire ch strength offered in D2H must be in that pack and in such a way so that users need not subscribe to Add--Ons..! This pack must be free from Add-Ons since all DTHs now have some Add-Ons or the other. I dont mind if the price of this pack goes upto as high as Rs.400-Rs.450, but not more than that. Also the price of lower packs should be less. They starting cost of packs can be near Rs.75-Rs.100, with packs of Rs.200, Rs.250, Rs.300 in between to Rs.400-450. This way they can cater to all audiences..!

First thing which will shock you is less installation + entry price. Max pack again will be over 400 Rs but base pack of D2H will rock you. Just wait for few days and check it yourself.
