WHAT MAKES BIGTV PICTURE QUALITY OUTSTANDING?

I mean to say, the signal is compressed (at different levels) by different operators and sent to the satellite. But if signal is compressed beyond particular level, the picture quality gets affected.
eg. if movie file of 1GB is compressed to 700MB and compressed to 300MB(using same compression technique), you can see the difference in picture quality.

Well tht much i know.So u r saying big uses less compression thn other mp4 players?.And on tht count DD+,ts &dish will hv much better pic quality since they hv much less compresion involved.
But i agree with wht MVC says--a lot goes behind the scenes.

Not only component out but many things are their for quality pictures.
And Big TV has all of them.
Others also started new STB with component out but still lacking in Quality.

In lots of forum many people agree that Big TV has superior picture quality.
I think this is enough to believe.

Hope everybody agrees with this. This is non technical explanation for this.

Nope. Satellite just amplifies the signal and retransmits it. Not involved in any kind picture quality game
