With the launch of Tata Sky, it has quickly become the most rivalled competitor to DishTV, judging from the reviews by different people about it, it can be quickly assumed that Tata Sky is far ahead of DishTV in terms of customer friendliness, cost effectiveness and Service Quality.

I don’t know the current rates, but getting DishTV cost me almost Rs. 10k, however the Tata Sky can be got for a mere Rs. 4k, therefore I believe it is cost effective. Also its monthly package is less in costs compared to DishTV, but I believe DishTV will cut down the prices seeing that the monopoly time is over.

People have also told me that the Tata Sky Dish is actually very small in size compared to the DishTV dish, can’t vouch for the fact’s accuracy, but if it is true, then Tata goes many steps ahead of Dish here.
