Do you want to view channels from all over the world? How about viewing the American channels and then viewing the Arab channels? How about tuning into the Daily soaps of Australia? and then viewing the news of Russia?

It is all possible, and all you need is your Dish and a STB, this works at least with the Zenega STB. Well, all you have to do is rotate your dish to the appropiate angle, you can check out www.lyngsat.com for seeing which satellite you want, it has all the details of which channels you can view, and what angle should you rotate your dish to, afterwards, program the details into your STB, it can be achieved by the edit SAT function of the STB.

Put in all the details, and then check the signal quality, rotate the dish to your angle and you will see that the signal quality has increased, after that, delete all channels from your STB and then search for new channels, voila! You now are viewing the channels of another country!

Although this has a downside, that you will only be able to view the free to air channels, although thats as good as it can get. Be optimistic though, maybe your local dealer will start keeping all the Smartcards of various satellites soon!

    It’s a real fun. many free to air channels. But please help me to get Yamala 49E. as it wants Polarity in L and R while in my Zenega Only V and H is Possible. Help!

    March 8th, 2007 at 1:26 am Johnson, The best method to get ABS-1 on Dth dish is to look for edusat at 74E , Abs-1 is 75E you can get FashionTV, FTV-men, 3ABN, JCTV, TVVINT, WORLd made channel, Church channel, Bloomberg, God channel, Smile of a child channel etc, Also enjoy SLRC-2(Sri Lankan), well they still show X-files, and edusat channels, Also you get MTV radio, Next FM etc some 8-10 radio stations on Abs-1, Well the elevation is more than that of NSS6 as seen from Cochin , So happy viewing

    May 13th, 2007 at 5:18 pm hello friends it is possible to view dish network channels and tata sky channels in U.A.E, OMAN, K.S.A, KOREA, CHINA, MALDIVES WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE STB(set top box) with a paid card, just u need to have a proper dish example in U.A.E 4mtr dish and a lnb not the one supplied by dish network..but mind u its illegal in U.A.E
